Mirza Ghalib

Introduction

If the matter of choosing of leader poet of Urdu poetry 90 percent people will choose Mirza Ghalib without any doubt. His real name was Asad Ullah. In start he use Asad as his poetry name. His cast was aibak Turk and his grandfather Jaan Mirza Qoqan Baig came Hindustan in the era during the downfall  of Moghul Empire. He served under the Ruler of Hindustan Meer Monu (Muneen Ul Malik) he moved to Dahli after his death. Mirza Qoqan Baig married a local girl from her he was blessed 7 children among them Mirza Abdullah Baig was the father of Mirza Ghalib. Mirza Abdullah Baig married with Ezat un Nisa the daughter of Ameer Khawajah Ghulam Hussain and he stayed in Aagrah for the rest of his life. He was killed in roti in state Alwor.

After the death of Mirza Ghalib’s father he raised by his uncle Mirza Nasrullah Baig. He was at the age of five years he lost his father.
