Introduction
Mirza Dagh Dahlvi was born in25 may 1831 at Dahli. His
father Nawab Shasm uddin Ahmad Khan was the Empire of Firoz Pur Jherkah. His
birth name was Ibrahim but changed to Dagh due to the saying of relatives. The
house in which Dagh born is situated at Chandni Chaok of Dili (Dahli) & now
called the house of Ostad Dagh. He was 4 years old when his father involved in
murdered case as result He hanged till death.
Dagh started writing poetry at the age of 12 years. He was
the great writer of urdu poetry and ghazals. In the era of Allama Iqbal &
Mirza Ghalib he wrote the perfect ghazal. He has more than five thousands
(5000) students. Allama was also the student of Dagh. Dagh opened his eyes
during the downfall of his country, the downfall not in politics but also in
literature. His poetry is the image of feelings and thoughts. Which means the
part of animals of human nature.
Now I write the unique poetry of Dagh. In which he described
his thoughts about paradise.
Shoq main janat ky hy
mati kharab
Chain sy dunia me kia
adam rahy
He told his concept of paradise in poetry, according to him
human will live in paradise million years and the will get million years old
hooren. He don’t want to get hooren because he knows that the human don’t
afford the 40, 45 years old woman.
Jis me lakhu baras ki
hooren hu
Aisi janat ka kia
kary koi.
He was in favor of dignity of human. He knows that the
angels have specific property and do specific work only. But humans have
different properties such as some good and bad properties. They also see the
different color of nature. These different colors are the destiny of humans.
Farishty bhi dhikhen
to khol jain ankheen
Bashar ko woh jalwy
dikhay gay hain
The love of Dagh was not so strong and his lover leaves him
alone due to the falling in the love of another person. The he said
Tu hy harjai to apna
bhi yahi taor sahi
Tu nahi aur sahi, aur
nahi aur sahi…….
Edhr dunia hy, odhr
dil hy
Jis ko chaha otha k
dikh lia
Yeh kia kaha ky hy tu
kis me shumar
Yakta hu me hazar me
kia so hazar me
At the end
Tum kahty ho mashoq
ita’at nahi krty
Aashiq bhi to mashoq
ka nokar nahi hota.
